Our Programs

Primary Classroom
Our Primary Classroom is home to our students ages 2.5 – Kindergarten.
In this cooperative style of learning, older children are given the opportunity to lead, assist, and collaborate with younger students. Our younger students in turn are provided with role models for learning social, emotional, and academic skills.

Elementary Classroom
The Elementary Classroom is where our students in 1st grade and up learn and grow.
With smaller class numbers than a traditional school setting, your child will benefit from a close relationship with their teacher and peers.
History of MCA
Montessori Christian Academy is located in Batesville, Arkansas.
MCA was founded in 2006 when Kelly Oster was invited by Hope Lutheran Church to re-establish their school. It was an answer to a long-term prayer. The school began with 3 children and quickly grew to 25 students! In 2013, a dedicated group of parents joined Kelly to form a Board of Trustees. Thus, Hope Lutheran School was renamed Montessori Christian Academy and established as a private school and non-profit organization. Our relationship with Hope Lutheran Church remains to this day.
MCA has nurtured many young minds over the past 20 years and is proud to provide the local community with Christ-centered, Montessori education for students ages 2.5 through elementary.
